A long time ago, when the UK still used Pounds, Shillings and Pence and Harold Wilson was Prime Minister I was a kinky, geeky kid of thirteen. (Harold Wilson did much to make homosexuality legal in the UK and reduce censorship.)

Being geeky and kinky and interested in spanking I made a miniature spanking machine out of Meccano. The idea was to use the machine to spank my sister’s dolls and teddy bears.

The machine went through a long development stage, I must have built half a dozen different versions before getting one to work correctly. I remember it had a geared down electric motor that ‘cocked’ a striking arm. A solenoid to trigger the arm. The spanking force was provided by twisted rubber strips, an idea I had copied from the rubber powered model aeroplanes. I figured that if a propeller could hurt that much if it caught my finger it must also hurt a dolls bottom. The whole thing was sequenced by relays and microswitches. For those interested, and indeed those not interested, I could adjust the force by moving the microswitch along the striking arm so that it pulled back further before the solenoid released and I could adjust the delay between strokes by varying the charge on a capacitor across the reset relay.

It could make rapid short strokes or long hard strokes or anywhere in between.

I wish I had kept it, but alas all my toys are long gone. I often wonder what became of all my Dinky Toy cars, I had hundreds of them. Much played with and all bashed and scratched so hardly valuable collectors items.

But I digress.

Once I had a working spanking machine I set it to work spanking dolls and teddys. My sister was an enthusiastic accomplice, devising complex scenarios as to why her dolls needed spanking. (I have always thought that kink ran in families, a bit like long legs and big feet.) It’s my blog and I can make bad jokes if I want to!

Jump forward forty years to 2011:-

I have been following the development of this interesting electronic project: Arduino.

It’s a clever bit of open source hardware and software. Perfect for sequencing a spanking machine. It would do away with all those relays and microswitches. It could probably be controlled from an Android cell phone.

I don’t really have the time or the space to build a full size version of my 1969 spanking machine, but I think (fantasise?) about doing so a great deal. I even have a few plans and a few snippets of code worked out.

Watch this space, you never know I may get around to actually making one.

Over on my Tumblr blog (What do you mean you never visit, go look NOW!) I have been a running a series of posts entitled “WTF photography” and “Nude girl in ridiculous shoes”.

I thought that I would bring those two themes to this blog.

Let’s start with a picture that covers both themes in one.

This picture meets both requirements. Nude girl, stupid shoes and just why is she standing on a toilet? The shoes are colour matched to the toilet! I just wonder how this picture came about.

“Take your kit off, put on the pink stilettos then stand on the toilet so that I can take your picture and publish it on the internet!”

I have lots more like this so it’s going to be a very regular feature!

Bonnie raises an interesting topic on her blog “My Bottom Smarts”. Remembering the disappeared.

As a blogger who has hit the delete button on many blogs, both kinky and vanilla I think I am qualified to answer.

My first kinky blog got deleted by the hosting company because it violated their terms and conditions. Too rude! I tried a few other hosts but none really came up to scratch so I decided to host it myself. Thus was born ‘Pervy_thoughts’ blog. I ran this one for quite a while. It got deleted when I split from my long term kinky partner and she asked me to take it down. At that time I was quite busy with work so the burden of blogging was just another distraction I did not need so I was happy to be an ex blogger for a while.

But blogging is quite addictive and after a while I missed the interaction. I thought carefully about the style and genre that I wanted for my next blog. I decided that I would leave the style and genre open ended and thus the blog of Fred was created.

I can talk about anything here, there is no requirement to be kinky or sexy, but quite a lot of what I write is about kink and sex.

I think there may be another reason why kinky bloggers hit that delete button. A lot of kinky people wake up one day and decided that they don’t really want to be kinky. They chuck out all the kinky sex toys, destroy their kinky library of porn, delete the blog if they have one, and go vanilla. Lots of my kinky friends have admitted that they have done this, sometimes more than once. It’s quite common. I have done it.

But kink is hard wired in most of us, you may as well try to be straight when you are really homosexual. You will forever be the square peg in the round hole. Probably miserably unhappy as well.

Long time back I came to realise I was kinky, I sought kinky friend and lived a kinky lifestyle. I am so much happier in my kinky world.

I hope this blog lasts for a long time. I have no plans to delete it.

Recently I briefly touched on the subject of a kinky friend wanting anonymous encounters with strangers for spanking and sex.

I met her again at a local munch recently and she was chatting up the men looking for a new encounter. I suppose this is slightly safer than meeting strangers via the internet, but not by much. Her encounters have aroused my curiosity so I quizzed her about her activities.

She gets off on the stranger thing. Once she gets to know a person then he is rejected in favour of another stranger. She may have two meetings with the same person but by then she considers that he is no longer a stranger so he is no longer of interest to her.

These encounters are self perpetuating. Because she is cheating on her partner she feels that she needs to be punished. She finds another person to spank her but as the encounter also involves sex she feels guilty. So it leads to another spanking and sex with another stranger.

A few years ago I was new to that particular munch.
I was the stranger.
It was a deeply unfulfilling way to have sex.
I have never really forgiven her for the rejection.
She should have been honest up front and stated her intention: “This is going to be a one night stand”.
